Our Journey...Part 1

First I want to let you all know that our "About Us" page will be up soon so that you may get to know our stories and family a little better. Until then here is our beginnings....

We have finally got our booth up and running full of all of our goodies...We are located in Laramie Wyoming at Barts Flea Market. Our Our both of course is adorned with our sign that we made ourselves. Please if you are near or live in Laramie, passing through, go to The University Of Wyoming, or live near stop in and check it out. The place is huge and has some great booths. Ours is one of the few Shabby Chic inspired. We do custom work as well and are here to help you if need be with a design. We hope to someday open up our own shop but for now we are newbies and getting ourselves out there and known. Kimberly has also put some of her  handcrafted jewelry pieces in the booth as well and also does custom work. Please check out her website as well at http://bellabrielle.com she does beautiful work. Here is a peak at what we have done thus far to our booth we are expanding the merchandise weekly and adding new custom and upcycled furnture pieces. If you like our work and are looking for a certain color or piece please feel free to shoot us an email or check out our Facebook page at http://www.facebook.com/pages/prairie-sisters-chic-boutique/481329491915492 and comment or send us a message there. We check it daily.

Here is our first purchase after discussing for quite a few years now about opening our own shop....We rented a storage unit.

I know it looks bare but we rented this before we even had furniture. We new that this would make us motivated to fill it.

The waiting list for a booth was like a year we were bumped up to the top for whatever reason and we took the chance making this entire process real.

The booth we chose was in need of some Prairie Chic love and that's exactly what we gave it.

Before...

Those book shelves... let me tell you... were a pain in the rear to paint. Here's after the first coat. We painted the shelves white and the walls a celery green. It's actually a really pretty color and looks chic with the white. The floors were a tough one and still a work in progress.
Progress..
Finally...

Check out are awesome sign we made from old pieces of wood and added a chalkboard for messages....

Thanks for tuning in and following  us on our journey....

Stay tuned for more about our journey, pinterest loves, furniture we are working on, and much, much more.....

Where ever the wind blows you,
